ARC Mechanical is pleased to announce the hiring of six new employees, including three master plumbers, two apprentices, and a project manager.
With more than 30 years’ experience working in the construction industry, Ken Rimm, a Warner, NH, resident, is ARC’s newest project manager. He brings a wealth of knowledge about project management and the building trades.
ARC’s apprenticeship program now includes Matt Hall, an installer apprentice and a North Haverhill, NH, resident, as well as Benjamin DeFoe, a service technician apprentice and a Sunapee, NH, resident. In his spare time, Matt runs a taxidermy business. Benjamin attended college at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute to study engineering. He decided he preferred working with his hands in the field and attended the New Hampshire School of Mechanical Trades, where he received a certificate in HVAC and Oil Heat. He is also certified to handle refrigerants. He has also attended the introductory welding course at the Hartford (VT) Tech Center.
ARC’s team of 19 master and journeymen plumbers grew by three when Derrick Abbott, master plumber and a Walpole, NH, resident; Doug Hinkley, master plumber and Springfield, VT, resident; and Jonathan White, master plumber and Wilder, VT, resident, joined ARC. Each one brings over 25 years’ plumbing experience to ARC. Like the majority of our plumbers, all three are licensed in Vermont and New Hampshire. Jonathan also holds a Vermont Silver Oil Installer certification. Doug is a licensed gas fitter in both New Hampshire and Vermont.
